Great nails don’t happen by accident — they come from a routine. Here’s a simple weekly nail care routine that keeps nails strong, smooth, and healthy.
Step 1: Remove and reset. Start with clean nails. Use a gentle, acetone-free remover, then wash your hands to clear residue.
Step 2: Shape, don’t saw. File in one direction with a fine-grit file. Almond and oval shapes distribute stress better than square tips, so they break less.
Step 3: Cuticle care. Push cuticles back gently after a shower — never cut them. Massage in cuticle oil daily; it’s the single biggest game-changer for dry, ragged cuticles.
Step 4: Hydrate everything. Nails are made of keratin, and keratin gets brittle when dry. Apply hand cream after every wash and nail oil before bed.
Step 5: Protect your work. Wear gloves for dishes and cleaning. A weekly strengthening base coat adds a protective shield.
Stick with this routine for 3–4 weeks and you’ll feel the difference — smoother cuticles, fewer breaks, and polish that actually lasts.
